The project involved the complete refurbishment of two adjoining mews houses in North London. The buildings date from the 1970’s and 80’s, with the latter forming the end terrace to a larger speculative development. The brief was to fully integrate both buildings to form a single family house. Internally, slight differences in floor levels were removed and the tight modular spaces were opened up to create more lucid spaces on all levels.
